just wanna know when they start their official launching for this project and who is their developer???
They started taking booking since March 2011, heard fully booked within week or two. Early bird with RM60k discount, the price for the lowest floor, smallest 1300+sf unit is ~820k, 600psf. Semi furnished, 1 car park except the biggest unit, commercial title. Zero interest during construction. Developer is “Sure Commerce”, never heard of it.
Location is excellent, just next to new tesco, trully walking distance. Design ok. Price wise reasonable consider semi furnished and free installment, especially when compared to E&O, 118@island plaze, sunrise@gurney etc. Not to forget even Mansion One also selling >600psf now, location wise The Jazz is much much better.
There aren’t much good & new projects coming up in Tg Tokong, the only one to look upon is perhaps Ivory new condo built on top tourist mall.
Ivory will built 4 blocks of 40 storeys condo on the tourist mall site.
The Tanjung Park residences has been received a letter from MPPP. The residence there were not happy and will against this project as its blocked their view.
4 blocks? I heard 2? Initially proposal was suppose to be one block, and ~30floors. Now the number of units have doubled up and this really reflected Ivory’s standard way of doing thing, trying to squeeze as many units as possible into every single inch of builtup to clinch maximum profit.
Anyway, this is a true red hot upcoming project. Freehold and residential title, located within the tg tokong new golden triangle precinct, and integrated development. This one is easily out-class the southbay, Bayan Mutiara, The curve, silverdale from location and title’s perspective.

The RM100 million sea-fronting Jazz Hotel Penang will open its doors by 2015, its operators said.
Full-service hotel management company Ri-Yaz Hotels and Resorts Sdn Bhd will manage the 226-room hotel, located at Tanjung Sri Pinang in Tanjung Tokong.

Called the developer office n was informed that they have not yet found a hotel operator yet.
However i google this project, found out that A hotel operator called Ri-yaz was selected n mou was signed in nov 2011. Anyone know what happen? Is the hotel project abandoned?

Pesonal opinion, I think tamarind is a good buy over I Santorini
Simply because of th the brand, semi furnished, low dense compared to ideal, quality, facade wise, and most importantly is it freehold and it is not under affordable housing. When u want to sell also easy. About 650 psf ok la. I believe ideal one after semi furnished and 2 car park simply cost 450k ady. Psf also almost the same ady. 550psf. Only 100 different.
