MCO 3.0 will not end tomorrow

The current movement control order (MCO 3.0) will not end as scheduled tomorrow (June 28).

This was announced by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin who said the current lockdown, part of Phase 1 of the National Recovery Plan will continue until the threshold value is less than 4,000 Covid-19 cases a day.

He also said the government will announce more comprehensive assistance to all groups of society on Monday or Tuesday.

    In Penang state, most of the clusters are construction sides and factories. A major operation on those “reckless culprits” should at least cut off half of the cases.

    Today 28th June 2021 Penang’s cases have dropped to 2 digits of 88 !
    Hopefully, can get out of the stringent SOP soon.

    From 300++ down to 88 while the factories are still pretty much operational in PG, that already proves that closing state borders+malls+all the other non-essential services is a prudent and effective approach. Period.
