Wah,this location is really the happening area.Last night I was with friends trying to celebrate New Year 2016 at Straits Quay but unfortunately it was packed,even Tesco parking was full.Finally,have to walk a distance to enjoy the atmosphere and gathering there.So,those who bought this project,next time just have to walk a short distance only to reach the main attraction centre.My friend who bought a unit told me he was happy to see the crowd and glad that he made the right choice to buy Tamarind.
@Player
I believe we can all agree the best comedian in the house would be no one other than you. Maybe like I said earlier you can consider the role of a termite exterminator as well if you fail as a joker. Things are looking bright for you. Think about it. Termite exterminator by day and joker at night.
@Joe
Yes, if you can’t be a developer then second choice would be a joker to keep
all kids happy during launching and might be some added stickers game to
make it more convincing.
@Player
seriously? why?
You can be a joker at new launches.
seriously, what is wrong with you? jealous is it?
We need jokers like him, he is probably the reason why this project is selling so well. Free publicity and entertainment that draws the crowd. I think he might be practicing some sort of a Sun tzu art of war or reverse pscychology, for all we know he is doing this project a big favour. Keep it up.
@Joe
Too bad you can only be a joker for new
launches. So keep “barking” for this Tsunami Bay.
@Phang
“So,those who bought this project,next time just have to walk a short distance only to reach the main attraction centre”.
You are right, just a short distance walk. And those you bought those low cost flats right next to Tamarind also get to enjoy that too…:)
What wrong with giving those low cost flats some enjoyment and convenience?
If everyone is staying high end, who will do those fcuking errand..
@Block B
Surely nothing is wrong with giving those low cost flats some enjoyment and convenience. But I think what RickyMartin is trying to say is that there is nothing special about Tamarind and this “So,those who bought this project,next time just have to walk a short distance only to reach the main attraction centre”.
He is just trying to point out that (1) there is low cost flats beside Tamarind (2) Even they can enjoy this, without having to pay RM800psf for their homes.
So Tamarind will not be seen as an exclusive condo, so why pay RM800psf?
Too many jealous people here. However, I find them entertaining. We need clowns after all to spice up our lives right lol
Hi Joe
Agree with you. Really entertaining seeing all this clowns. They all feel very insecure with their Tamarind purchase, and have to come here and defend it. Hahaha.
Yes, The Margarine definitely needs you as a clown.
@ComePlay
Player or comeplay. No need to be so jealous, all you need is rm700k and you can clown all of us staying there ; )
@Joe
It’s you not me that keep barking at this Tsunami Bay.
@ComePlay
“It’s you not me”….that was a good clown attempt, I am pretty sure all you need is rm700K you would be able to clown us staying there ; )
@Joe
You are not just endangering your own life but others by promoting this area
of Tsunami Bay.
@ComePlay
I didn’t know that you care for all of us so much. I am deeply thankful and grateful for your grave concerns. You know what, laughter is still the best medicine, thanks for entertaining.
@ComePlay
Thanks for barking ; )
@Joe
You will be cursed for your deeds in barking at the wrong tree that grow in the
Margarine at Tsunami Bay.
@Player/ComePlay
Why are you so concern on others buying into Tamarind? You must be a pest in real life, where no one like your presence around them.
@Pundek Player
The Margarine people speaking for Tsunami Bay again.
@ComePlay
So now you are a tree? This clown is indeed funny. “It is you” that keeps barking here ; )
It’s used to be a premium location at strait quay , residence there get to enjoy the peace and privacy of “home” feeling ….now all these high density project came along ….
It is not what it will used to be , so if your mindset is that then it won be
It is nothing but a double pay “affordable house” concept with all those unit
If you wan live condo with exclusive feel, not more than 100 unit pls not 1k plus
Soon there will be like farlim or jelutong lol
My grandma flat is lower density than this one , buy 70k nia ….less one zero
Another affordable house typo density project with slightly different paint job and window design which make it look like apartment
I wonder if the swimming pool can fit 2k ppl haha
But where is the location?
You dont buy and u jelly?
U jelly!
Is not ‘Jelly’ is Super ‘Belly’ high Density 1100 . Peace’s
Jelly people, don’t worry for us. I know all of you care but barking here isn’t going to change anything. Sitting in front of your com in a room crying out loud doesn’t make you a wise man or a hero. That’s what I call baby rage.
I see shibuya(straits quay) and shinjuku (gurney) in the making.
Tsunami Quay for buaya to stay ?
What is there to be jeulous with? Lol with 1100 unit ….i bet the car park wont be enough for all and it is almost guarantee all the extra car will park outside ……siam here siam there , kao here kao there , somemore need give way to car in and out , this stress need face everyday no thx
@Ck
The only reason you are still barking here is because you guys are jelly. Baby rage on ; )
Is it true that 30% of the 2000 unit low cost flats near Tamarind is now open to the general public? Is there any criteria to be followed in order for the general public to be eligible to get a slice of this 30% units? I already own 2 properties on the island. Am I still eligible to buy into this? Any input anyone? Thank you.
@filterfren
Visit their sales gallery buddy.
@filterfren
Why do you want to buy low cost flat? Low cost flats will never have open market units, all have to be allocated by state, and buyers will have to qualify for strict criterias. And if I am not wrong, the low cost flats next to Tamarind only have about 1200 units in total, almost similar number to Tamarind. But of course, the land size is also smaller.
Currently stay 5 unit per floor with 70 unit whole building bro , why jelly 1100 unit
Total 1,104 units for the “buaya”.
Then have to depends on who is your neighbours.
With lousy neighbours, 10 units will make you die..
With classy folks, we are creating a better living environment..
@Ck
If you no jelly you won’t be barking here woof woof ; )
Err.. nop is not buaya i think is “Pigeon House” with luxury pool can google it and observe.
Another high rise building is going to build on the government reserve land next to the tamarind.
https://www.penangpropertytalk.com/2015/12/ewein-to-acquire-land-in-penang-for-rm162-million/comment-page-1/#comment-388184
In pg seldom ppl can hv chance of without being substitute by other project unless u buy land reclamation project like the light by ijm or maybe tanjung bungah condo along the shore
@Ck
I think the main argument here is not about what’s substituting what. It’s mainly about who got the better deal, Block A or B. Most of the Block A buyers were disappointed by the pricing of Block B which is similar to Block A, in spite of the difference of about 1 year in launching time.
Most Block A buyers were “pressured” into buying their units (although not being able to choose their preferred unit type and price) under the presumption that there will be price increase later when Block B is launched. Of course, these are mainly property speculators, who are so used to E&O’s price tactics of increasing price for each subsequent launches. Without such tactics, flippers of Quayside and those E&O landed homes would not be asking the price of what they are asking today. Although the real transacted price is normally much lower than the asking price, but without such tactics from E&O, these houses would probably be worth 50% of what it is today.
My opinion is all developers are out there to make profits,that’s a real fact.Of course they have their strategies,marketing to sell and also risks to take.They don’t force us to buy but we need to be smart,do some homework before we pen that signature.Gone are the days where we hear of stalled projects and so on.As long as they delivered what was promised and completes on time,that is good enough I guess.I have confidence in this project.
I agree with you that “all developers are out there to make profits”, and that goes for any other businesses. However, we must always remember that not all “willing buyer, willing seller” transactions are ethical, the details have to be carefully looked at.
Example, the infamous “scratch and win” schemes peddled by those thug-looking salesmen that you used to always see at supermarkets. You scratch, you win, you end up buying super expensive household goods, willing buyer willing seller right? Haha, that has been outlawed.
Any sales process containing any elements of deceit, bad intention, misinterpretations etc can be considered unfair practices and can be made illegal.
So back to the statement of “all developers are out there to make profits”, I’d say there must be a limit to what they can and cannot do to make that profit. I empathize those who are now stuck with useless and overpriced properties, which they cannot rent out nor sell, after falling victim to developers’ “sales & marketing strategies” during the last 5 years.
@Phang
Yes you are right by saying that all developers are out there to make profits.
This developer of The Margarine in Tsunami Bay is a “vampire” !!!!!!! A real
blood sucker company.
When I decided to purchase Tamarind, I was actually looking around and went to view a few more other developments around Tanjung Tokong and Tanjung Bungah.
I end up taking a unit at Tamarind is because of a few factors
1. Reputable Developer
E&O is the only developer within Seri Tanjung Piang as they have been developing luxury residential for the past 10 years. I went to the show unit and I was impress that E&O still giving really good quality finishes even at a much lower price compared to Quayside and Andaman which makes Tamarind really value for money.
2. Master Plan Development
A very good example is like when I was in KL, within Setia Alam I could see that Setia Eco Park which is about 700+ acres became the most ideal location. This is so similar to Seri Tanjung Pinang which it came the best residential location to live in and Tamarind is part of Seri Tanjung Pinang. The address says it all.
3. Amenities
This is very important because Tesco is just across the road, Straits Quay and Vantage is about 400m down the road. This is really convenient and is an added advantage for this property. Furthermore, it is only 1km away to Fettes Park where all the hawker stall, banks and other shop lots are. Not forgetting it is about 3km down to Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon Mall.
4. Future Plans
If there are future transformation and development especially when it comes to infrastructure, it will boost the value of properties within the area. Therefore, with STP2 coming up there is continuation and growth potential for E&O development. Hope the latest news of LRT/MRT that the last station will be around Tesco will come true.
Well, I have friends telling me that they should have bought E&O properties when they launched a few years ago but because they end up listen to people. They listen to people who mentioned all kinds of nonsense and therefore they didn’t buy but now they have regretted not buying when they could have.
Anyway, to cut the story short. I have been staying in Fettes Park since I was young and I always wanted to get a home at Seri Tanjung Pinang by E&O but as we know it has always been on the high side because they have been selling high end luxury homes.
I am glad Tamarind came as I could actually afford to buy a unit now.
So looking forward to meet all my new neighbours when the project is complete.
Maybe after few year you will say seri tanjung pinang “used” to be a good place to stay lol
Just like farlim, ayer itam, jelutong, sg ara ”used to be a good place ” haha 10 yr ago
Now all war refugee staying there lol
@Cardevect
Surprisingly I have a few friends regretted buying Quayside, because they said it is impossible to sell their units now without loosing money. Such contradiction!
I hope there is no designated Gangster Contractor (GC) after in this project after completion. So far almost all condos in Penang island are monopolized by GCs for the first few years after completion.
@Cardevect
I agreed with you. I was also brought up in this area. I have been looking for a property in this area for years and finally found Tamarind. It just fit all my criterion. Other projects are either too expensive for me or too near to the cemetery or the main road which is not my cup of tea.
Some people may have other preference. My preference is Tamarind.
You guys made the right choice. I personally own Quayside and I bought it back when everyone told me that it was crazy to buy at that price but look at it today and I know I made the right decision. I bought the Marinox sky villas too and it is completing in 6 months time and the price has indeed went up since I bought it as well. Sometimes you just need to filter all the noise and think logically, many people out there knows jacksh*t about the market, in the kingdom if the blind the one eye man is king.
@Dan
“too near to the cemetery or the main road which is not my cup of tea.”…?
Pls take note that there will be an expressway right in front of Tamarind, just in case you didn’t notice.
Thanks. I know that there will be infrastructure upgrade in this area. That is the reason I buy into this project. What I mean is that I personally dislike driving from main road straight away into the apartment driveway. Just a personal preference.
Cardevect
I have to agree with you.I missed the Breeza because I seek too many opinions,some telling me its leasehold and by Uda.Somebody mentioned earlier the price now is double.Its true.Coming to Marinox Sky Villas,the timing was not right and when I was ready to buy,the price went up even its also leasehold during one of last property fair.This project is certainly worth buying but for those negative thinking,its your money,so you decide yourself.
Executive “apartment “….first time heard such term
I think it should be affordable hs turn private lol x3
@Phang
I went behind Island Plaza and see the road. The width of the land as I can see is similar to the current Jalan Seri Tanjung Pinang. Only able to fit 2 lanes each after the setback of pedestrian pathway.
It’s called the Outer Ring Road anyway instead of outer ring highway or expressway ^_^
@Cardevect
So no expressway would be better.The current on going construction was pretty fast.Last week I was at Jazz Hotel,walk up the driveway to have a better view of this project courtesy of someone I met at their construction site.To clarify a statement,there shouldn’t be any gangster contractor as this project is almost complete with furnishing by Ikea.Maybe you need to buy a fridge,ceiling fans and some lighting unlike other projects that comes empty.
@Cardevect,Phang,
Pls take note that the outer ring road will have a total of 6 lanes (3 lanes each way). Right now, the developer of City of Dreams is only building half of it, with the other half coming when they build their phase 2 (to be named). Nevertheless, the main contributor of noise and pollution is not the number of lanes, but the speed at which the cars are travelling. For the ring road, cars will be traveling fast (much faster than the current tanjung tokong rd) because there will not be traffic lights to slow traffic down.
@TAN: ”It’s used to be a premium location at strait quay , residence there get to enjoy the peace and privacy of “home” feeling ….now all these high density project came along ….
It is not what it will used to be , so if your mindset is that then it won be
It is nothing but a double pay “affordable house” concept with all those unit
If you wan live condo with exclusive feel, not more than 100 unit pls not 1k plus”
Tan, my symphathies to you….. as I understand your feelings that the ‘ home’ feeling premium location is now slowly starting to fade with all these high-rises coming up around this area. I suppose you may be owning a landed house here.
This has however benefited a lot of people who have a lower budget and they are all very excited to own a piece of E&O. So for some this resulted in happiness, for some sadness. This is life bro, nothing is perfect in this world.
@ Tan
I forgot to mention….. to get an exclusive feel 100 unit plus condo, there is a price to pay….. a very high price indeed. So this is not possible, due to low budget! You get what you pay for, nothing more nothing less.
@filterfren
Aiyo bro, you guys really like to be sucked by E&O. Even for high price condos (Quayside), E&O also squeeze in 1500+ units, and it looks like low cost flats from outside. I heard Tamarind will end up looking almost the same, like low cost flats.
This is not even along the shore , the view may not be as good as quay side , plus no feeling of the wave and pounding sound will be hear
Add 200k-300k buy quay side better
I dont think this deserve such high price tag at all with its high density
Quay side 5 tower but at least one tower 300 unit only , and even that also 12 unit per floor already ….some other “cheap” project got lower than this
Tamarind 2 tower 1100 unit wth
@keukgl
Why your friend want to sell now? it’s not a wise choice to sell property now when everyone is talking about bad sentiments everywhere. it’s time to buy now because you can easily get bargain price in many place lol.
@Surprise
You are right, it’s not a good time to sell, but a good time to buy. I think the reason they want to sell is they find it very “unproductive”. They bought it for investment thinking can easily rent out around RM4k/month, a number that was given by E&O staff years ago when they bought it. The sales staff was very good in playing with their imagination that time, the “theme park” lah, what “water park” lah, this and that lah, but end up also they say the “theme park” is now slowly dying.
The reality is you cannot easily find tenant even at RM3000/month. They got so fed up with all the “rejections” after viewings, so they explore selling it to buy something else that can be more “productive”.
Interested pls do not hesitate to contact Jane @016-4405426 or email to janekhor94@gmail.com for more details.
email janekhor94@gmail.com for unit release
Yea, definitely agreed with you! It’s time to grab now, not the time for sell. Especially sub-sales properties are highly flexible to negotiate the price, just my 2 cents.
Unit released? Meaning there are buyer cancelling their bookings?
@Confirm
They are dumping this Margarine in Tsunami Bay.
It is the hottest project in 2015 with 90K over page views! Congrats buyers!
What? Margarine Top project in 2015? Come on how can this be after I said so many things about it.
Thanks to Player this has become the most popular property in 2015.. I think E&O must reward player for this..
For advance unit selection & project wise details !
Please do not hesitate to dial 012-4332820 @ Jonathan Lee for further assistance
Good Day * Thank You *
@Jonathan Lee
Advance unit selection? Are you here to con people? No more advance selection lah! This project was launched last year CNY!
@ComePlay
Market is small, it’s not hard to find out who you are. Please go back to sell your I-S project.. every industry has rule and code of ethic.. you are really capable then prove it by selling your own project, not by criticizing other project, young man.
I santorini must be selling very bad.. So Comeplay, R.player, player is jealous of The Tamarind and come kacau kacau.. Just to remind you, we have met before. I didnt buy your place but you dont have to kacau the place i buy. So unsporting. shame..
@LOL
You mean comeplay is from other developer? which developer is he from? why is he acting like a samseng and harass E&O buyers?
Ohh so the player is from Ideal I Santorini. Shame on you. Haha.
Really do not expect other developers or their stuff to be acting in such an unprofessional way.
Going to other people’s forum and try to talk bad yet forgetting their project is just across the road.
If you want people to buy your projecti then you should be talking good about your development and not trashing others when your project is also located in Seri Tanjung Pinang.
Basically its like slapping your own face with your own hands.
For all those who have bought Tamarind, The GOVERNMENT RESERVE LAND has been SOLD to EWEIN at RM850psf
This means that by the time they add in construction cost it will be at least RM1200psf
So this is a VERY VERY good news to all Tamarind buyers.
Appreciation Appreciation Appreciation.
All the best to all in 2016.
Although this project is high density but i respect all the buyer to have the gut to buy the tamarind because buying here is far more better than buying at sungai ara or relau which would have 10x population than seri tanjung pinang
Those MNC worker who buy the tamarind is those that dont want to stay near to their workplace just because of convenience but have own identity of what they want in life , not following the sheep round circle , maybe some think that staying at strait quay got “face” so can brag about during chinese new year
I support this tamarind buyer decision in the sense that they learn how to enjoy life beside the tradisional idiot thinking of ” convenience” when they dont even think of “unconvenience” cause by jam and high density
Tamarind may be high density but still less dense that relau sg ara with 10 plus project
Is ok to buy this project when its still available because if you think about buying property in penang, there is really no place or environment that is low dense and quite after next few year with all the upcoming project , so if wan find more less dense better buy near existing landed house area because it is confirm low dense already which seri tanjung pinang also have landed house
. If you buy all condo area sure die of jam and high dense
By the way i am not agent lol
@Cardevect
Govt reserve land sold to Ewein is at RM 312.80 psf. No developer is so stupid to pay RM850psf for an empty piece of land. Please don’t mislead the public by doing a guessing game on this.
@Jack
You are seriously conflicting yourself especially on factors of traffic jam and high density when comparing Sg Ara/Relau area to Tamarind.
Those MNC workers when travelling to work from Tamarind to Bayan Lepas will be 10x more jam compare to those staying at Relau area.
When I took my friend to view this project a couple of months ago,he only need to make some important phone calls and signed up a unit on the very same day.Positive thinking will go far in life that’s why he’s so successful.If you say negative things like some did here,he will just sweep you aside.Fast thinking,did some survey,done some homework and that’s it.Opportunity only knock on your door once.
Somebody mentioned here now’s the time to buy property which is true.If you are following property news,you will understand what I’m saying here.This year won’t be any better than last year but should pick up probably 2017.So,by the time this project completes,prices would have appreciated much.
E&O buyer “Huat Liao” because Ewein just buy land at Seri Tanjung Pinang at RM1300 psf.
Just checked with land planning dept last week, the piece of empty land next to Tamarind actually has been surrendered to IWK.
My friend, when there are development means there will be progress and where there is progress there will be better quality in life.
This has been proven all around the world and even at Seri Tanjung Pinang.
That is why I deal is here. That is why Uda Land is here. That is why Ewein is coming in and bought the government land beside at RM850psf and now negotiating with State government to buy another piece of land at RM1,300psf which was announced today.
Interested fore more details pls call Jane@016-4405426 or email to janekhor94@gmail.com for more details.thank you
@Boey
Is there a jabatan perancangan tanah in Malaysia? or You mean town and country planning department????
Read the news do your research and get your facts right!!
@filterfren
Those spreading rumours about RM800++psf & RM1000++psf land bought by Ewein are not guessing, but just some desperate agents selling Tamarind intentionally trying to mislead readers, naively thinking that would help to close sales. Honestly at this price point where Tamarind is being priced at, it will be at least 10 years before any investors can see any meaningful profit on their investment. There are still more measures can be taken by the state to prevent excessive price increase, they will just have to wait for the right timing to strike.:)
Why Tamarind compared till Sungai ara? This szhould be high class relaxing area. Sungai ara is complicated high density area. Relau is Vietnam bangla indo operator town.
I Santorini
10 storey car park
2000 units
low quality material
Traffic jam within compund…haha…yet those shooting Tamarind keeps quiet in the I Santorini page…
Feeling fishy right…
don’t arguelah!!!
For convenience purpose, those who work in B.Lepas factories better stay near around that area…..
Time saving & traffic constrain are the main points to think twice for buying a new house for long stay, but not for investors………
Foreign workers also a human, they even better than our local peoples.
Why u insult them ???
Actually Tamarind already down graded area, next 5 years will become high dense area.
Batu Frenggi is the only high glass relaxing area in Penang. Many tourists, 4/5 stars hotels & super condos surrounded
@Player
Funny you brought up I-Santorini. Sounds like you feel intimidated by this super-dense super-low-quality affordable condo? Hehe….don’t worry, the time will come. When the time comes, it’s going to get it, but the time is not ripe yet…:)
There is only one high class area in Penang island, it is the millionaire row, the Gurney.
The rest will only try to follow and catch up, at the end mostly will fail with affordable houses, high density condo which happen at Seri Tanjung Pinang area now.
Balls-Less impostor.
All the talk here about high density.Naturally,everyone loves to stay at low density condo,better still own a bungalow at Gurney Drive as its well known for being exclusive.Lets be more realistic in life unless you have those millions with you in the bank then possible.If not then just be satisfy based on your budget.
agreed!!! Who can ansure after several years what will happen??
Just for your info.. Next 10years after in front of gurney will be build with highway along the coast line.. Near the water front.. That will be a few project of affordable house which iis actually inside of state government as well to those kampung house for relocation in LMC in front of gurney.. Happy investing..
who can quarantee Tamarind area status after several years will not be change except Gurney, Western Rd, Pulau Tikus the millionaire houses area.
The sale agents can guarantee just about everything !!!!!!!!
Have money then buy lar….talk her talk there…..no action not going anywhere….one buyer just bought a few units while all of you debating her and there…..
Haha.. choosy buyer like aunty in pasar
Crazy pricing…Government reserve land sold for 850psf beside Tamarind…Government reserve land south of Seri Tanjung Piang sold for RM1300psf…
Who is going to buy…
@Holiao
Got, sure got people buy one, there are a lot of water fish in the market. All the water fish now servicing their mortgage of their useless properties. Thanks. Thanks for keeping the market afloat..:)
@kayabun
And also there will be waterfish buying RM430k affordable housing while others dont have to pay the RM30k premium. The developer bought the land at such a high cost and sell you at such a cheap price what kind of quality can you expect? water fish water fish.. waterfish is everywhere nowadays’
@Tan
Agree with you. E&O’s cost is normally very high due to poor cost management, so Tamarind’s buyers should not expect the usual E&O quality for this project. An expert once told me, do not buy just because others are buying. Only buy when the equation looks good. In order words, don’t buy on emotion, buy on logic.
That’s why people called it “blood sucker” E&O.
Not good to call people other name than their own. Do u think e&O will risk its reputation? But you don’t expect excellent condition too lah!
I see a lot of jelly fish and not water fish. If you have the money just buy. Don’t listen to all this jelly fish.
What you pay is what you get.
Pay for a Proton you get a Proton quality.
Pay for a Mercedes and you get a Mercedes quality.
Correct.All these years,houses along Gurney Drive directly facing the sea,you called it millionaire’s row.The best view and location buy there are plans in pipeline for future development in few years time.I’m not so sure it will be at the present situation forever.Time will tell and changes are possible.
Tamarind is good buy actually..but commercial title.. The rest all is good..
Just blocked comments and you say it all.
Berjaya Land will be launching affordable homes at around RM300k next to their bungalows at the turf club jesselton. Good buy?
Reclamation work by E&O for STP 2 project at Gurney Drive will start soon as announced recently.Is it good news for this project.What about the millionaire row at gurney drive,will it be affected?
@Phang
Once reclamation starts and finishes, they will start their housing projects.I think this will affect the Gurney Drive residence as their sea view will be sole on this E&O mega project.

@Cardevect
Congratulations and well done …
Luckily I did not sign the S&P, there will be a major price correction for properties in Penang. I thought RM700-800psf was reasonable 1 year ago, but that’s considered over-priced today, especially for such high density.
@xian
Maybe in the mainland but certainly not on the island especially this prime location.
Yes, i heard too. Lets gamble and wait.
Tsunami prime area in Penang ? Want to gamble in casino not with this Margarine.
Selling quite fast. Block A 95% and block B 80%. Prime location
Those if never buy for this project sure will regret because miss boat.. Price will shoot up to 1M upon completion.. Don’t gramble.. Later regret..
Considered very lucky for those who had not purchased. The ship already sunk even before it sets to sail.
Correct, lets sink together with the whole island.
Property prices will sink so low achu akow can buy buy cheap stock, lets wait for that moment, is coming…
@Faith
Actually no need to gamble. I have invested my money in something that would give me good returns if Tamarind price go up, and yet shield me from losses if Tamarind prices stay stagnant.
@Faith
In fact, there is a very high chance that my investment would even give me decent returns if Tamarind price stay stagnant.
@xian
You must be talking about ideal’s Isantorini. Then again one is proton and one is continental brand. Different crowd and different quality. Not comparable.
@Lol
Really? I didn’t say it, you said it. I guess I’d take it as you think Isantorini is a far better bet than Tamarind then???
@Lol
Hmmm…..why are you feeling so insecure about the Tamrind you bought?
Levy hike may raise prices Property buyers likely to bear brunt of new fees – This was published recently.
Again in 2016 property prices will increase as expected. As analysis have shown and proven that property that is located in good locations is always the best bet. However, do not expect prices at good location to be cheap. With cost of materials and labor increasing the cost will be transferred to home buyers.
As a purchaser we always have the option to choose either quality finishing or cheap finishing. This comes down to the property price and your affordability range. So basically what we pay is what we get.
Let’s do a simple test on brands and prices and see what comes to our mind;
1. Proton, Honda, Mercedes, Ferrari. It’s just a car.
2. Elle, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, Hermes. It’s just a bag.
3. Reka Indah, Ivory, Eco World, E&O Property. It’s just a house.
Well at the end of the day, if a buyer wants to buy a Hermes, Ferrari and E&O they have the rights to do so.
If a person is to buy a Honda, Michael Kors and Ivory is it also their rights to do so as well.
No use condemning people who purchase based on their affordability because at the end of the day it all comes down to your very own ability to purchase.
The Margarine had sunk in the bay of Tsunami and only thing is to refrain from
buying it.
Those who have bought is their own hard earned money. Those who have not, keep your money to buy something else. Why barking at each other?..
Looks like people from other developer is jealous that Tamarind sales is good or better than theirs.
Anyway like i said it is buyers choice to buy a seiko, panerai or patek philippe is based on buyers ability and affordability.
No use trashing others as this just shows how low they will go or basically how unethical they can be.
For those who have purchased Tamarind and to all my future neighbors, Happy Chinese New Year for you have made the right choice.
To the ignorant people, rich people don’t stay in one thousand over sq. ft. built-up area, especially in Tsunami location.
@Property123
What? Don’t tell me you are equating Tamarind to Patek Philippe? Hahaha!! I have never seen Patek hawking their watches in the basement of a mall, but I saw agents hawking Tamarind in the basement of Gurney Plaza today!!!
@Come
Those ppl who really rich will go for 2000sqf++ house..Super condo &landed property. They will buy this kind of apartment for investment only..
They don even lay their eyes on this pigeon holes in Tsunami area.
@Come
Only those youngster &professional worker engineer kia maybe working in baya lepas.. They keen on show off here. Good luck.. Happy investment for commercial title project..
Those working in FTZ will not eye this location no matter how good it is, may be there were a few exceptional one. Who want to spent long hours on travelling everyday or might as well stay in mainland.
@Ranee
Agree with you. In Bayan Lepas area, condo price is only RM400psf +/-, no point spending RM800psf to buy this Tamarind. Ridiculous. Later sure regret.
@Ranee
Not true at all. I have 2 units in this area rented out to people working in Bayan Lepas. Their wives are not working and they prefer this location because it is near all the international schools. Dalat, uplands, tenby etc
Hi Ranee,
You are right. I would prefer Bayan Lepas, many choices to choose from, price also very reasonable, ~RM400psf, save money, save travelling time.
Interested pls do not hesitate to call Jane@016-4405426 or email to janekhor94@gmail.com for more information and details!
@Lol
Very soon
@Lol
Very soon B
@Lol
Very soon Bayan Lepas will having international school also.
@Ranee
Soon? I thought it’s already there? Straits International School right? A lot of indian students.
Bought a unit today, tower A for RM674k, do you guys think worth it?
You are buying the price of the future and in Tsunami location.
@Ranee
Balik pulau also have international school. If you are from island, you will certainly know where the expats will stay. Most of them located at Northern side, tg bungah, gurney drive, Batu ferringhi. Look at seri tg pinang, if no expats stay there, the town would have died by now and it is the most expensive area per square feet wise already in Penang. The price of property in an area reflects the premium someone would pay for its location. Property 101.
MC
Good buy.Your unit is high floor or medium?E&O having CNY celebration this weekend at their sales gallery as I was told by my friend who was keen to buy a unit for own stay.Hope can get a good bargain.Not many units left.
It is 17th floor facing Jazz Hotel
Nothing more than sales gimmick trying to fool other but ending fooling one ownself. Blood sucker project !!!!!!
Anyone knows what was the price last year for tower A during launching, 17th floor? Just want to know did I pay more as compared to last year? Thanks
What a bad playacting by the sales personnel.
Come,
Please pay respect to other buyers, cursing and criticising do not make you better. The forum is to share the information.
Just sharing some misleading informations about this Tsunami Bay.
Come, player, Comeplay, Realplayer is all the same person if you read through the page.
He is too free and has nothing better to do because he has no customer to serve in his sales office while little did he know the more the criticism the more customers are coming over to the sales gallery to clarify and got the actual truth which convinced them even more further to buy because they are able to see everything with their own eyes.
Lets just ignore this kind of person who talks without substance and facts.
Happy Chinese New Year!
The one with substance like MCM trying to block comments is called non-capable and misleading the public.
When a developer resort to assigning agents to help them sell their properties, it normally means there are no more nice units left at reasonable price. So the agents would have to hard sell (even to the extend of lying) to potential customers in order to close deal. So it’s an unspoken agreement between developer and agent that the developer is allowing the agent to lie to innocent customers to close deals. They get paid to do the dirty job.
Then lets talk facts like a gentleman =)
Gentlemen got to have balls but some are balls-less.
@Come
Can u list down 5 reason u think Tamarind is bad project?
Give &share us data..
Tower A got renovation similar to Tower B? I know it only got 1 parking lot whereas Tower B got 2
@jason
This is typically E&O marketing trick.. Sell tower A with 1 cp & now tower B with 2cp with cost slidely higher..
Tower A buyer must be disappointed.. In future tower A will get bad in subsale compare to tower B.. Tower A majority rent out.. Tower B majority own stay.. That’s why now buyer also bola one big one small. E&O..poor developer… Illegal parking at SQ soon we can see in front of tamarind..
@MC
MC, 674K price is after 8% discount & 5% debate ? 1 or 2 carparks ?
@Teh
Before discount…2CP.. If u offer RM900k..then i will consider….
Heard some property road show display at Gurney plaza this week.One of them is City of Dreams by Ewein Zenith SB.Guess what the price quoted for a 1350 sf unit.It is 1.8 million.2 blocks of 38 storey high end condo to be build at STP close to Island Plaza.Can someone reconfirm the price.I can’t believe what I’ve heard.
@ Teh
So you got it for 589k after the discount and rebate?
@Interested Buyer
So I m water fish lol, buy 771k before discount & debate only 1 carpark, need add extra 1 c/p 38k, my unit face jazz 12th floor
Yup, I heard the list price are RM1.8m for 1350 sqft, but have some rebate package. Beside that, the City of Dreams was take off alot of facilities compared to last year roadshow.
You’re lucky for the unit, because it just released like few hours ago and came to you, some more you bought it with price from 6 something, it’s rare.
What a mess? Someone bought it at 600k+ with 2 car parks and some bought it at 700k+ with one car park. And someone mentioned by luck.
Do you want to face this type of situation when come to purchase property?
I can’t believe its managed by EnO.
674k after discount and rebate, only one carpark
@Teh
I think you bought an unit similar to mine, about 674k after discount and rebate. Facing Jazz with 1 carpark
@MJ
How do you know the unit being released few hours before I bought? Are you the sales person?
MC, u so lucky still can get unit below 700k, when i ask Blok A face jazz All Sold, Blok B face vacant land just left 33th floor
MC, u so lucky still can get unit below 700k, when i ask Blok A face jazz All Sold, Blok B face vacant land just left 33th floor
@MC
Is your unit under the break tank?
@MC
MJ is balls-less. Will try to use different identity in the future.
I’m the marketing agent for this project. I have few buyers are on waiting list, looking for RM750k and below units…
Bro, get a life. Keep crying like a baby at here won’t help on your career
@MC
Don’t try to mislead others creating stories for this Tsunami Bay using different identity.
@MJ
Correction.
I am very disappointed E&O painted the low cost flat right in front of Tamarind with the same ugly color as those beside Island Plaza. I thought they are going to do something slightly different (better) since this low cost flat is just right in front of Tamarind. *sigh*. Next time when I drive in and out of Tamarind, always have to face this big shitty structure. Regret buying this Tamarind.
My cousin is hoping for some released units to be made available asap……
Interested pls call Jane@016-440 5426 or email to janekhor94@gmail.com for more details.
