Good fortune abounds in township, says feng shui expert

CURRENT and future buyers of Botanica.CT Garden Township will continue to be surrounded by good fortune for the next 20 to 40 years, according to renowned feng shui consultant Datuk Joey Yap.

He made the remark when he arrived at the launch of Botanica.CT’s Botanica 4 show villas to give a talk on Sunday.

He also claimed that fortune was shifting to the southwest side of Penang island or Balik Pulau where the garden township was located.

MTT & Priority Group of Companies group general manager Jason Tan Khee Kwong said Yap was engaged to give a talk to potential homebuyers, adding that having mountains all around was good feng shui.

Meanwhile, the group’s executive chairman Datuk Dr Kenny Ong said response to the launch had been good with 10 people placing their bookings and many more making enquiries, adding that they hoped to sell at least half of the 29 units by the end of the year.

“Our next phase will be the commercial units.

“We hope to start building the pedestrian mall to be called Botanica Walk as soon as the building plan is approved.”

Botanica 4 will have 29 three-storey villas on a plateau with each having a built-up area of 6,000sq ft onwards and land area of 9,000sq ft to 16,000sq ft.

Each villa, priced from RM5.5mil and with seven exclusive designs to choose from, will have a swimming pool and a home elevator.

Botanica.CT has nine residential phases altogether. A heritage club house is due to open soon followed by the pedestrian mall, a medical centre, a health resort and a retirement resort.

There will be a two-day Botanica.CT roadshow from June 7 at Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore from 10am to 7pm in conjunction with Property Guru’s Malaysia Property Showcase 2014.

The launching ceremony of the Botanica 4 show villas was also witnessed by Botanica.CT’s existing residents and potential buyers who were treated to lunch and a lion dance blessing ceremony.

Never heard anyone who get rich because of Fengshui, but heard a lot get poor because of it. Some people are already rich and they feel insecure thats why they get a fengshui master, and its not because of this fengshui master that made them rich. Just look at nina wang fengshui master, LOL.

Also, to those who believe just because you wear some ring on your finger and you can get rich or have a happy relationship, can i point out to you that now is 2014? Do you see other races around the world believe in such crap?

If the project is selling well, you think Kenny needs to pay Joey so much for this crap?

So maybe we’ll leave Kenny alone lah, he’s a nice guy after all. It’s just that Balik Pulau is a little bit hard to sell, and he needs to push some units soon, otherwise when Batu Kawan comes up, no one would bother buy anything in Balik Pulau already!!

read carefully it says “continue to be surrounded by good fortune”….just surrounded and not necessary in the middle of good fortune?

Was there to look at their showhouse, but my experience with their sales people speaks louder than anything.
Simply promise this and that (international school, Mara,UiTM and Big Shopping MALL) The best of the best is even Private hospital. Simply promise and talk cock.
The price is RM680K and above.
The surrounding is quiet (cant deny that) But the price is obviously too high/ over price.
And if you really plan to stay there and work in other part of Penang. Tell u what? Try to drive up twice a day (up and down).
This project will fail, look at the shoplot (Ghostly haunted and most empty)
Well, Good luck to those who wanted to try their luck with this property.
There is no right and wrong here (I am just giving my point of view)

Balik Pulau, many kampung folks youngster flew out from Balik Pulau to Bayan Baru, town area in the past 10 years due too too ulu and not convenient for anything.

Now developer get the Balik Pulau land at dirt cheap price, and wana create demand and lure ppl back to that area with high profit margin, good idea.

It won’t be as serious as China’s Ghost city but will be similar. I foresee those buying Botanica CT now, their grand child will thanks their granddad for their wise choice.

    Thats true.

What i am surprise is that, people these days which are literate and with university education believe in such crap. And are willing to pay ten of thousand for this kind of “service”. When ask why other western culture is successful without such stuff, they will say, how do you know, even Bill Gates also have fengshui master. I really LMAO.

Anyway, its good we have idiots amongst us. So that the economy can be generated.

Ya la….just because my office surrounded by pretty girls, doesn’t mean they are my girl friends, right?

Using Fengshui is a good strategy to sell to business/ rich people.

My dad believes in Fengshui, but growing up listening to him talking fengshui and arranging stuff around the house, I realize it’s part science, part crap.

The “Science” part is pretty much ergonomics plus interior design that affects us physically and mentally. Example, furnitures at correct heights (comfort) and arrangements/colours that makes you relax (psychology) instead of feeling stressed.

The “crap” part is take a compass stand in the middle of the house and decide which corner of the house need to put a pot of plants or a fish tank or even remove a door or window.
