    Those units facing macalister road are still available due to noisy road. Units with good facing mostly sold out. Believe more freebies will be given to lure potential buyers…

    @Alex

    Traffic noise shouldn’t be the issue as the traffic on macalister road is going at very slow speed and mostly passenger cars, unlike the highway in front of Light Linear & Bayswater area, all going at ~100km/h, plus big trucks.

    But I think the main issue is pricing. Plus, most penangites are more family oriented. Small trendy apartments are not in favour with families.

    Developer are smart. They take your money first, then build the house. It is not the other way round.

    they approach me before.. the selling price is quite high . but that location might be a good place for investment. can rent to those patient visit the hospital nearby, consider walking distance,can be a high class “accomodation”
    not kidding, the hospital keep on extend and build new building to cater for the patients need, many of them from Indonesia and demand is good.

    Huge appreciation potential when you notice that Ecoworld just bought the 1.1 acres land opposite as for “service apartments”, check their corporate presentation for land cost.
    Meanwhile Mahsing likely to launch pykett project soon as their Mon’t Kiara same-name project about to OC.

    @kathe

    Then why is the sales talking to a low level person like you who can’t type proper english? Maybe they are at the same level as you, that’s why can’t sell to high level people? So low level people trying to sell questionable level apartments to high level people? Hehehe.

    I really salute the uncle who smashed up his RM2 mil 700+sf condo @ Tropicana The Residence KLCC. Its really high time we put a stop to these unscrupulous developers who charge their customers exorbitant price for sub-standard products. For those at 218 Tropicana, i can see no one is saying anything about the missing Marriot. Haha…..all the idiots.

    @HiHoSilver

    On the one hand I do feel sorry for him because the finishings in the unit really look cheapskate but his ways are too extreme and now hes facing a possible defamation suit with RM50mil in damages. There is a price to pay for being overly principled.

    I support the uncle. If he is polite and nicely deal with the developer and NOT getting media attention, do you think the Developer will entertain and make everything good for him and other buyers ? I think it is a lesson and message for all the developers as well – don’t ever think single buyer alone, not united, cannot do anything to your sales and reputation.

    it remember me last time i saw a video.
    The china man unhappy with his new delivered
    luxury car. just got little defect and he burn the car.
    so u all encourage this behavior continue ??

    April 18th, 2019 at 11:27 | #26

    Your buyer paid you 2mil with your promise to give him high quality product. But you decided to give him rubbish to maximize your profit. Your buyer complained to media. You are not happy and decided to sue him for defamation?

    I will definitely not buying from this developer…

    I have just finished reading a piece of news about a chinese lady in china who made a big fuss (something like what uncle-tropicana did) about her leaky merc which went viral on the internet. Instead of threatening her with law suits, Merc China compensated her loss and apologized to her, temporarily shut down the branch that sold her the car pending in-depth investigation.

    April 18th, 2019 at 14:04 | #28

    That’s how you “value” your customer, hear what your customer has to say, but not threaten them when youre not happy with what they say. Enough said before I get into a lawsuit, we shall just remember what happened here, and hopefully people dont make the same buying mistake.
