Considered a fair buy but will definitely be snapped up real soon. Last checked with some internal IJM person in the weekend (Saturday), this development generated the bulk of the purchasers over the others.
Pearl Regency used to be expensive but not anymore, now everywhere is 500-600 but not semi-furnished and their payment package and view beats the pack of competitors in the price range(latitude for example). The location is great. It has generated a lot of Hong Kong buyers recently I heard too.

it is so nice everyday i pass by , the hole in between makes it so special. dont think its ugly though.

Its really not matching between the price and appearance. if you drive along Tun LCE expressway, this is much worse than some of the apartments along the way. Just too ugly to match its price. Its a sorethumb to the whole area.

yes, they rename it to midtown mall… just get info from my fren, coffee bean, 24 hours shop, korean steamboat restaurant (maybe Seoul Garden) are among the tenants….
@KT i don’t think Ikea will be there. The building itself not suitable for ikea. Last I heard about ikea rumors was IJM invites ikea to open at the light commercial. But ikea did not want to come due to not enough population that meet their criteria.

whether like or not like, this project very successful, only left 3 units unsold. However, i won’t spend over Rm700k to buy a ‘box’ (big or small) in island, i always prefer landed property.
looks like hotel, which I think is not too bad, from far is very unique. Imagine staying there, go to FTZ ok, go to town ok, buy groceries and makan also seems super convenient, I wish I can own a unit there. Used to stay in gelugor which is somewhat in the middle also, now stay in sg ara feels not so centric and jam lo
it is all sold and this project risen in value too.
IJM’s plan is to well manage the midtown mall and sell it to some reits to earn money. Seems like already around 50% are leased, any business idea?

I am so curious what kind of mall will be opened underneath it. So many empty malls now indicating the market is not enough to support the sea of commercial lots. Island Plaza, BJ Mall, Midland Park, Komtar and Time Square. Hope it won’t turn into another one.
Trust me, the mall will be successful, almost have full commercial tenancy already, and white collars can spend, hopefully will be another Queensbay mall like. BJ mall is also doing quite good actually, population going there are of more Malays. Town’s mall no comments.
The link bridge and mall are definitely coming up, but not soon, that’s the norm of Malaysia speed, things to liaise and etc. Frankly saying the condition of Pearl Regency is not that satisfactory in the initial phase due to new contractors used, but great thing it’s IJM, they acknowledge the problem, and are willing to rectify fast, I am gaining confidence

Sun is not local lah. Give him a break. He is one of those koreans who got conned by IJM into paying hefty price for this piece of shit. A lot of people got conned by IJM in the past few years into buying over-priced condos in shitty areas.

Is a nice place only if the cleaners and gardeners stop laying and napping around with the legs up high by the children playgroung near the sinks. And it happens everyday!! Management should do something about it.

Looks to be hovering around the 810K to 850K region. But watch out for number of car parks for those sub sales. It differs.
